Misgav Lakashish was established in 1989 to provide nursing care and health and welfare services to the elderly. Misgav LaKashish serves thousands of elderly people each year, including Holocaust survivors, self-employed seniors, caregivers, Alzheimer's patients and others.
We believe that it is best for seniors to remain in their own homes as long as possible. Our mission is to provide the elderly with high-quality programs and services necessary to enable them to live the rest of their lives in their own home and their natural environment.
Misgav Lakshish is the only association that specializes in meeting the cultural sensitivities of the religious / ultra-Orthodox sector and provides a comprehensive response to the various problems that arise in old age. It serves as a center for all the services that the elderly requires.
Misgav Lakashish is an established organization that works in cooperation with the Government of Israel, the National Insurance Institute, JDC-Israel, the Claims Conference, the Holocaust Survivors Fund, the Jerusalem Municipality and other bodies. Misgav Lakashish additionally seeks the recognition of Haredi rabbis in order to encourage their needy communities to benefit from the services available to seniors in Israel.
